Guardian’s Soft Special Needs Helmet is uniquely designed to protect your loved ones from head injuries that can occur as a result of seizure activity and other accidents.
Maximum Protection Technology for Special Needs Helmets
Guardian’s soft helmet for special needs is FDA registered and is the medical world’s premier soft-shell protective headgear, powered by an innovative smart molecule technology. Materials flow freely when at rest, but on impact, lock tightly together to disperse and absorb the energy of the blow, before instantly returning to their soft, flexible state. This reaction is instantaneous and 100% passive. The greater the force of impact, the greater the protection. Engineered from our base sports model this product has been reinforced with substantially MORE impact protection materials for the protection of your loved ones.

- The hook and loop chin strap combined with adjustable laces in the back enables the soft protective headgear to custom fit each person’s head

How to find your size
Use a cloth or paper tape measure to measure around your head. For best results, use a plastic/cloth tape measure. Alternately, you may use a piece of string or cord and then measure the length of the cord.
Measure across your brow (approx 1″ above eyebrows), slightly above your ears keeping the tape parallel to the floor. This measurement is a “two-person” event and is nearly impossible to accurately do by yourself.

This is my second helmet I buy from Guardian Helmets and both have been just what our clients need. I recently reached out to customer service and they were very helpful with my issue. I would definitely purchase again and 100% recommend you buy from them as well.

I love this helmet. Provides full coverage that has saved him from injury when he has dropped to the ground during a seizure. Saved him from serious head injury when he was pushed off of an 8 foot retaining wall last summer. Doctors said it saved his life!! Love it!! Thank you so much for having helmets like this for my child! Life savers is what these are.

My special needs son wears his helmet every day to prevent him from hitting himself in the head. It fits him well and there is good ventilation so he doesn’t get too hot with it on. 10/10 I would recommend to anyone with similar issues. Thank you.

What is the difference between a locking chin strap and the padded chin strap that is already on there?
John Hans (store manager) –
Hello, the locking chin strap goes over the existing strap on the headgear to secure it from tugging. The additional chin strap is padded and fully edge banded to make for a comfortable fit.

This is the third one I have bought for my son who has profound disabilities and self harming behaviours. They are easily the best we have found – good fit, lightweight but take the impact when needed. The shipping cost to England is expensive – but they are worth it.

Really light and it seems like my daughter with severe autism likes it.

It is a little big for her but we love the design and durability of it and it covers more of her cheeks and the back of her head….We are happy with the product

Thank you for the quick shipment! We ordered this for our teenage granddaughter who is autistic. When she is having a “meltdown” she has a tendency to bang her head. This helmet gives her full and comfortable coverage; which gives us peace of mind.
Thank you for the quick delivery!!

I haven’t been able to find any more appropriate for my Son in the UK and so I can’t rate this helmet highly enough.

It’s nice and looks high quality it’s chin strap does not keep helmet on a child that refuse to wear it, I had a helmet that just protected the half top of childs head. And my child would take it off soon as I put it on. So being a concerned parent I went with the garden helmet cause the way it’s made looked like chin strap would keep helmet on child, it does not if your child refuses to wear a helmet this helmet won’t work cause your child will scratch his nose and face taking it off, the helmet itself is high quality and will work awesome for a child that don’t mind wearing it I’m out 189.00 and still have a child that is harming himself. Good luck y’all this is not a negative review, it’s an educational one. Don’t buy it thinking it will solve your problem of a child refusing to wear it. You will be disappointed 😞🙏🏻
